Departments | V73 Rifle Series The Vulcan Arms V73 Series rifles are recreations of the famous Israeli Galil rifles. The V73 feature 100% parts interchangeabililty with the originals, and accept all original accessories and magazines. The V73 rifles are shown here are specifically designed for accuracy, ease of handling, and simplicity of maintenance. The V73 is a lightweight, air cooled, gas operated, magazine fed, shoulder fired, semi automatic firearm. V73’s are known for their extremely rugged design and unerring reliability, even in adverse conditions. The ease of handling sets the V73 apart from other firearms in this class. Controls are ambidextrous and can be operated equally well by right handed and left handed users. The spent cases are ejected forward and to the right and the dual use safety selector accommodates operators using either hand. Field stripping requires no tools and there are only six parts to be handled. The 5.56mm models use standard Galil magazines, the 7.62x39 models use standard AK magazines, and the .308 models use standard Galil .308 magazines. The V73 rifle’s heart is its completely machined mono-block receiver. These receivers are made on state-of-the-art machining centers from a solid block of SAE 4150 steel. Machining tolerances are kept to an absolute minimum to increase accuracy and dependability. All V73’s are made using 100% brand new parts. These are not “parts guns” built from used or surplus parts. These are brand new rifles, built from the ground up. Each V73 rifle includes a removable flash hider, sling, manual, cleaning kit, oiler, gun lock, Vulcan Tanto Knife with sheath, and magazine, all in a hard case!
